Norwegian (languagecode: nb; autonym: norsk bokmål) is spoken by around 5.3 million people mainly in Norway. It is written in different standard varieties called Nynorsk and Bokmål. Both of them are excepted in Norway as written forms. Spoken Norwegian however is based on the dialect one speaks rather than the written language varieties.
